Legend Sport exists to connect the global Masters community with the spirit, warmth, and excellence that define South African sport through invitational events that promote connection, movement, wellbeing and belonging. Two key themes emerged as pillars through which the logo was developed: Community & Movement. During this process, we also recognised that the brand should feel approachable and supportive, able to invite both newcomers and veterans to participate in the freedom that comes with sporting endeavour and connection with a likeminded community. The meerkat represents both motion and community, whilst tying the Legend Sport brand with its geography. In creating a distinctly South African brand that represents both the joy of movement and the importance of community, the meerkat is a symbol of jolly cooperation, mindfulness and resilience.



Since successfully launching the brand, Mkt has assisted with full brand identity and business stationery to support the business in pitching to investors and potential participants alike, and driving growth through considered, welcoming design.
